ABOUT ME
I was ordained as a Progressive Rabbi in 1996 having studied at Leo Baeck College. Over the past twenty-five years my experience has been as a Liberal Rabbi, both within the Congregational Rabbinate and within Health Care Chaplaincy. I have an MA in Health Care Chaplaincy and an MA in Hebrew and Jewish Studies, as well as a Life Coaching Qualification.
I currently work as a Chaplain in the Chaplaincy-Spiritual Care Team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where I am Trans Rep on the LGBT+ & Friends Staff Network. Before this I worked as a Chaplain at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and as Jewish Chaplain at Barts Health Trust and North London Hospice. Working within Multi-Faith Teams has been and continues to be an enriching spiritual experience.
I am a member of the College of Health Care Chaplains (CHCC).
My teaching experience has encompassed a variety of roles and contexts as: Jewish Studies teacher in a Jewish Day School, Tutoring in the Pastoral training of Progressive Rabbinic Students, facilitating Pastoral Care & Community Skills groups and Pastoral Placements, Spiritual Care Training for Registrars, working with people who are becoming Jewish and teaching Hebrew and Jewish Studies to all age groups.
As a Life Coach and Corporate Coach, I work with people on a one-to-one basis and with groups.
